This is a full-time, exempt level position.

Position Summary:

As part of the GBS Master Data Services (MDS) team, the Enterprise Product Owner Master Data Management (MDM) – Party (“Product Owner”) serves as the voice of the business and drives end-to-end processes and solutions supporting the build-out of customer and vendor data. The ideal candidate will work closely with the MDM Global Process Owner (GPO) and Solution Lead to prioritize the efforts for each product release and help frame the platform that makes handling data more efficient for all users. In addition, the Product Owner will partner with the GBS MDM team to analyze current ways of working, create and maintain accurate process documentation, and incorporate continuous improvement methodologies to maintain industry best practices.

The job responsibilities of this role include:

+ Translating requirements of the business into a clear format that drives system capabilities

+ Prioritizing functionality based on business value and risks

+ Defining and communicating the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for MDM Party, aligning with business goals and objectives

+ Reinforcing the 1ADM program vision throughout the implementation

+ Reviewing, verifying, and signing-off on system features to ensure the solution meets the business needs

+ Planning and assisting in change management activities including creating training materials in partnership with the Organizational Change Management (OCM) team

+ Championing the MDM processes to the business

+ Translating the GPO vision into actionable tasks in collaboration with Solution Delivery

+ Collaborating with End-to-End (E2E) process teams, outside MDM, to define and/or solve for data requirements enabling business transactions, reporting, etc.

+ Responsibility for completeness and accuracy of process artifacts

+ Monitoring process health and maturity which includes defining KPIs and/or metrics for the customer and vendor domain

The successful candidate should possess the following qualifications:

+ 5+ years of ADM experience, or equivalent, working in a collaborative environment supporting business needs and IT delivery teams

+ Demonstrated ability to communicate appropriately to ensure team success

+ Strong analytical, organization, time management, facilitation, and process management skills

+ Ability to manage priorities while adapting evolving individual and team assignments

+ Drive consensus through collaboration across multiple parties with conflicting views

+ Proven ability to work in a team environment or independently

+ Maintains a positive work environment through collaboration and conflict resolution

+ Understanding of MDM concepts, principles, and best practices, particularly in managing party master data

Additional desired qualifications:

+ Demonstrated experience handling multiple projects

+ Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data integration concepts and practices

+ Experience with MDM platforms such as Informatica and/or SAP MDG

+ Background in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementations, specifically SAP

To ensure business alignment, the Enterprise Product Owner MDM – Party will directly report through the GBS MDS tower and have dotted line reporting to the MDM GPO.

This position does not offer relocation, as the candidate will stay in their current location. Potential travel (15-20%) associated with the position. Position is an in-office position and incumbent will be expected to comply with the respective location’s remote work schedule.
