Design Project Manager

As our new Design Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead the development of executable designs for renovation, replacement, and new installations. You will manage design budgets for construction projects ranging from $500,000 to $1,000,000. Your responsibilities will include establishing creative strategies, budgets, and schedules for projects, implementing building standards for design delivery, and reviewing the quality and accuracy of design projects. You will serve as the primary point of contact for design, collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders, internal business partners, IT, and vendors. You will also provide reporting on the implementation of projects while in progress and upon completion, and travel for site visits.

Job Description:

+ Lead development of executable designs for renovation, replacement, and new installations

+ Manage design budgets for construction projects with budgets ranging from $500,000 – $1,000,000

+ Establish creative strategy, budgets, and schedules for projects

+ Implement building standards for design delivery

+ Review quality and accuracy of design projects

+ Serve as the primary point of contact for design

+ Collaborate and coordinate with stakeholders, internal business partners, IT, and vendors

+ Provide reporting on the implementation of projects while in progress upon completion

+ Travel for site visit

Qualifications:

+ Bachelors Degree in MEP Engineering or Mechanical Contracting

+ US accredited Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, MEP Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management

+ 5-7 years of post-graduate experience in project management

+ Post-graduate= NOT internship experience

+ Revit and AutoCAD proficiency, Procore proficiency is a plus

+ Experience managing projects from start to finish

+ Experience with municipal, public sector, industrial projects

+ Licensure is a plus
