Job Title: Coating TechnicianJob Description

As a Coating Technician, you will be tasked with maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment and machinery to enhance production processes, minimize downtime, and ensure a seamless flow of materials through the department. This role requires the implementation of standards and processes, monitoring of preventative maintenance schedules, equipment repair logs, and product quality. Additionally, you will order repair parts, manage a spare parts inventory system, and assist in departmental improvements and technical issues. The position includes providing support for new product launches, filling in for technicians as needed, and ensuring adherence to safety rules.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Paris, Illinois.

Work Environment

This position is based in an Industrial Manufacturing Facility within the automotive industry, characterized by a fast-paced environment. The role is for the 2nd shift, operating from 3 pm to 11 pm. Daily responsibilities include floor walkthroughs, coordination with production for any program changes on robots, and handling daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance tasks. Technicians are also responsible for ordering parts used during repairs.
