Job Title: Facilities Engineer

Job Description

We’re looking for a seasoned Facilities Engineer to support our various facilities projects. Your role will be vital in managing projects across our multiple facilities, including our three plants in Illinois and our corporate office. You will be responsible for HVAC maintenance and replacement, building additions, equipment space planning, parking lot maintenance at the corporate office, and the preparation of drawings and specifications. Additionally, you will work closely with department managers and less experienced engineering staff, providing mentorship when necessary. Your role will also involve regular interaction with contractors and conducting meetings on behalf of the department manager.

Hard Skills

+ Ability to coordinate work with custodial staff

Job Type

This is permanent position (contract-to-hire).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Paris, Illinois.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fast-paced Industrial Manufacturing Facility in the automotive industry. The core working hours are from 8am to 5pm. The job will occasionally require travel, mostly day trips, to various plants to oversee project progress.
