Job Title: Process Engineer
Job Description
Seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Process Engineer to provide engineering support to our plastic molding processes. The role involves material processing and analysis, handling equipment, and designing guidelines for material selection and performance in specific applications. Daily tasks may include conducting tests in the lab to ensure material quality, developing application processes for materials, and documenting findings. The successful candidate will act as a technical liaison for customers and material suppliers, coordinate material and process characteristics with tool engineering for new product implementation, and provide technical support to launch teams.
Hard Skills
+ BS in Engineering
+ 2-4 years of material and process engineering experience, preferably in plastics within the automotive industry
+ Knowledge of SAE and/or ASTM standards
+ Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project
+ Experience in handling industrial materials like polycarbonate, acrylic, pmma, polypropylene, abs, asa
Soft Skills
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Technical writing and presentation skills
+ Organizational, planning, and project management skills
+ Strong communication and leadership skills
+ Interpersonal skills with ability to interact with all levels of authority
