Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Join our team focused on Purchased Finished Power Electronics, a component development team responsible for developing critical components essential for electrifying machines. This role involves collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to develop, evaluate, and integrate power electronics components like inverters and DC to DC converters. You will engage in supplier evaluations, support new technology and product introduction processes, and work closely with system level teams to meet the electrification needs. This role includes supporting APQP, DFMEA activities, and ensuring the integration and testing of these components aligns with our operational and quality standards.

Hard Skills

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering

+ Minimum 6 years of product development experience

+ Power Electronics design and development

+ Basic understanding of e-powertrain systems and components

+ Experience with electric drive systems and/or components

+ Experience with FMEA, APQP, PPAP

+ Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) process

+ Experience in power electronics component testing and validation

Soft Skills

+ Strong communication and collaboration skills

+ Technical leadership

+ Analytical skills

+ Ability to lead teams through complex assignments

Job Type

This is a contract position

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Peoria, Illinois and some days remote.

Work Environment

Primarily onsite with some remote work opportunities
