Zurich is currently looking for a Claims Shared Services Support II to join their Claims team. In this role you will provide administrative and supporting function for claims functional groups to allow the office to function at a high level of efficiency and compliance. You will also, manage exception financial processing, including wire transfers, recovery processing and payments, per defined workflows.

The candidate selected for this opportunity should be able to work remotely from one of the following states that are located in the Central, Mountain, and/or Pacific time zones from 10am – 7pm CST, Monday – Friday: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming, or Utah.

In this role you will be responsible for:

+ Review SharePoint site for incoming documents, compare to claim system authorizations and process payments according to prescribed workflows.

+ Maintain availability in telephone call queue, respond to customer inquiries quickly, accurately and in a professional manner. Offers first level problem resolution to customers and escalates inquiries appropriately.

+ Handles key support functions for office, as outlined in operations best practices.

+ Generates, distributes, and processes internal control reports or other operational reporting per defined workflows.

+ Applies knowledge of complex operational best practices and procedures to daily activities.

+ Identifies and resolves problems by referring to procedural documentation and reference materials.

+ Offers process improvement ideas.

+ Handles further administrative projects as assigned.

+ Provides prompt, courteous, and high-quality work in response to management direction and internal customer needs.

+ Completes assigned work within established standards for timeliness and accuracy.

+ Work and collaborate with dedicated payment teams both onshore and offshore.

Basic Qualifications:

+ High School Diploma or Equivalent and 3 or more years of experience in the Clerical or Office area

OR

+ Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and 1 or more years of experience in the Clerical or Office area

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Strong Microsoft Office

+ Strong customer service and phone skills

+ Strong interpersonal skills

+ Completes and stop payments

Compensation for roles at Zurich varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Zurich provides in good faith a reasonable range of compensation for roles. Candidates with salary expectations outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill, and education.The salary provided is a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. The starting hourly range for this position is $17.79 – $24.42.
