The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands on, knowing today is the day to make an impact.

The Manager, Events & Experience will be a key member of the team that will have an impact on the key events at TAG. The ideal candidate not only needs to be organized, but passionate about event technology solutions to streamline processes that capture key deliverables. Working amongst a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment the Manager, Events & Experience will have the opportunity touch multiple aspects of the event lifecycle from creative conceptualizing and enhancing engagement to data collection and financial administration. The ideal candidate is agile with the ability to pivot quickly, works well under pressure, a multi-tasker that can prioritize.

Responsibilities:

Event Planning, Production and Fulfillment

+ Manage the TAG SWAG Store, which includes, but not limited to the following areas of attention:

Supplier/Vendor management – key liaison between TAG & Vendor

Inventory monitoring – ensure pieces are moving, stock is adequate, event materials are returned, etc.

Sourcing – curate new items, assess volume discounts & ensure brand is represented accurately in pieces selected

+ Partner with the Director, Events & Experience on logistics for large-scale company-wide events annually, regional/divisional meetings and trainings

+ Provide project management for select events from start to finish, from researching locations, hotels & venues through event execution, including:

+ Building the RFP

+ Conduct site research, site surveys and planning trips

+ Timeline Maintenance

+ Budget Tracking/Reconciliation

+ Initiate contracts

+ Create program specifications complete with menus, room layouts, audio visual requirements, event notes, scheduling and billing instructions

+ Review & Approve Event Orders

+ Coordinate staffing support and assignments for large events

+ Collaborate with internal resources and external vendor partners to execute against creative/theming and design development for events including: production, materials (i.e. invites, décor), meals

+ Oversee travel arrangements/transfers for attendees (in partnership with travel department)

+ Develop/manage registration for all events

+ Close out all events as required

Event Administration

+ Create and maintain timelines and budgets

+ Registration Platform Build & Management

+ Mobile App Development

+ Data reports related to registration

+ Keep track of event finances including check requests, invoicing, and reporting

+ Coordinate site visits and scheduling of planning events

+ Prepare and modify event contracts as requested

+ Assist with managing on-site tasks for events as necessary

+ Support on all ancillary event needs. presentations, invites, sponsors, vendor management

Qualifications:

+ Mobile and Platform Proficiency to support Registration & Event Communications

+ Project management skills, including maintaining timelines and budgets

+ Collaborative attitude and strong communication skills

+ Willingness to travel as needed to support above responsibilities (approx. 30%)

+ Ability to manage multiple projects and work streams independently

+ Strong customer service ethic and high expectations for quality

+ 3 – 5 years meeting planning experience

Salary: $95-115k with bonus opportunity
