Key Responsibilities:

The Onboard Programs Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining all things related to onboard tools and applications for our flight attendants and any accompanying customer experiences. The role will require collaboration across various organizations to help develop new, industry leading employee iOS apps and tools, with the end goal of driving a better experience for our employees and customers. This role will also provide insights to overall onboard program health, implementing future innovations and enhancements and ownership of key aspects of our employee iPhone devices. Common topics include Onboard Experience, Food & Beverage, Loyalty & Marketing, Safety, and overall program success with a focus on pushing the limits of what is capable through onboard technology in these spaces.

+ Partner with commercial/operating groups and Digital Technology to deliver innovative applications and tools that will improve the customer and employee experience onboard the plane, focusing on app development with our flight attendant group and digital partners

+ Become the liaison between Catering, Inflight, DT, and UX teams to deliver best-in-class digital integration across a variety of technology channels

+ Successfully mine data and manipulate data details to achieve intended outcomes (Excel/VBA, SQL, Spotfire, etc.) for program and business partners

+ Generate and monitor KPIs set to provide pulse checks on how onboard programs are performing, as well as being received by customers

+ Develop thought-partnership-relationships with our business partners permitting an agile and honest collaboration environment focused on improving outcomes

NOTE: This is a Chicago-based, hybrid role with in-office requirements 50% of the time. This position will also travel up to 20% of the time.

Qualifications

What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):

+ Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience (Engineering, Business Administration, Strategy, Computer Science or Mathematics)

+ 3+ years’ relevant experience

+ Understanding of data flows, iOS development or general application development

+ Project management skills

+ Capable of quickly building positive relationships

+ Ability to strategize, collaborate across multiple cross-functional organizations

+ Ability to empower and influence leadership teams on direction and strategy

+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship

+ Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

+ Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

What will help you propel from the pack (Preferred Qualifications):

+ Master’s degree

+ 3+ years’ aviation experience

+ Knowledge of Inflight, catering processes, back-end digital technology components

+ Integrated process mapping experience
