Job Title: Manual Machinist
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist who will be primarily responsible for creating machine parts utilizing blueprints and manual machines. The successful candidate will be adept at operating a variety of machinery, including engine lathes, turret lathes, Bridgeport mills, drill presses, tool grinders, and CNC Mills. Key tasks include performing machining operations such as milling, drilling, boring, and reaming metal workpieces. The role will also involve analyzing specifications, deciding on tooling according to knowledge of shop mathematics, metal properties, and machining procedures. Manual machining will account for 70% of the job.
