Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
Seeking a skilled CNC Mill Machinist to operate and maintain various machining equipment including Haas Vertical Mill, Gantry Lasers, Vertical Bridge, and Horizontal CNC machining centers. Responsibilities include milling, drilling, changing tooling, and ensuring quality checks are performed to maintain tolerances +- 0.001 of an inch. This role involves handling large scale machining parts for major components like oil pans and bases for heavy machinery. Note that this is a physically demanding role requiring frequent lifting, bending, and twisting.
Hard Skills
+ Experience with Fanuc Controls
+ Ability to perform basic math for setups and operations
+ Experience with Haas Vertical Mill, Gantry Lasers, Vertical Bridge, and Horizontal CNC machining centers
+ Knowledge in tooling and fixturing offsets
+ Proficiency in milling and drilling
+ Adept at changing tooling and placing parts in locators
Soft Skills
+ Attention to detail
+ Ability to perform physical tasks
+ Capability to conduct quality checks independently
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Environment
