Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking an Administrative Practice Assistant to support the Structured Transactions/Finance Practice Group. Reporting to the Administrative Support Supervisor, the Administrative Practice Assistant will be responsible for providing a broad range of administrative support to our firm's practice groups in an environment where superior client service is emphasized and practiced.

This position will reside in the Chicago office with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.

Key responsibilities of this position include:
Preparation of individual signature packets of closing documents
Compiling executed signatures of final documents
Compiling Exhibits and Schedules to documents
Preparing electronic closing book zip files
Preparing binder of original closing documents for distribution via courier
Sending out large files by Secure File Transfer
Running compare redlines
Downloading closing books and documents to iManage
Maintaining client files.
Organizing DMS client folders
Processing new business intake and related forms.
Time entry, answering phones and taking messages, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings.
Respond to attorney, client, staff, and vendor inquiries.
Processing expense reports, check requests, scanning, copying, coordinating incoming/outgoing mail, faxes and emails, word processing, arranging travel and preparing travel itineraries.
Draft, edit and proofread correspondence, memorandums, reports and other general communication.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or relevant experience.
At least 3 to 5 years of Finance Legal Assistant experience.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
Excellent written/verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft WORD, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and PDF Editing Software (Kofax/Adobe)
Highly proficient in using technology, such as laptop, monitors, desktop phones, printers, copiers and scanning machines, to improve efficiency
Highly proficient in using various software applications, such as time and expense reporting, DMS, calendar and meeting schedulers.
Flexibility to work overtime is required.
