Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing support to the Environmental Department. Position reports to the Environmental Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinates with the due diligence department for acquisition site visits.
Woks with environmental consultant to understand potential environmental issues and assess the environmental risk as it relates to CenterPoint's existing properties.
Manage and schedule the implementation and tracking of the annual assessment program. Evaluate and address consultant recommendations and communicate same to tenants.
Manages and prioritizes all phone, email, fax and other correspondence.
Executes all outbound communications/letters for the department.
Facilitate tracking and coordination of ongoing remediation projects.
Coordinate, schedule, review and track environmental operating budget meeting annually with accounting and property managers.
Responsible for scheduling and attending quarterly meetings with regional and property managers.
Create new tenant welcome letters and coordinate with property managers.
General administrative support for the Environmental Director, including managing a large volume of technical data and supporting files; assist travel arrangements and expense reports,

Completes other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma required; Some college preferred.
1-3 years of previous administrative experience, preferably in a corporate office setting.
Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to handle high volume scheduling and coordination.
Have the ability to build strong and collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to perform the functions of the job with limited supervision.
Possesses a strong sense of urgency and ability to handle urgent situations.
Ability to learn process, systems, departments, and names quickly.
Comfortable with computers and proficient in standard corporate operating systems including Microsoft Office.
Ability to manage elevated stress levels periodically; can work under an active and intense environment.
Flexible with respect to work schedule; Required to work on-site 2-3 days per week.
