Position Overview:

The successful candidate for Art Director (Manager) will be primarily responsible for setting Zones corporate brand and design guidelines across the Creative Team and company. This individual will guide and support the design and distribution of creative deliverables across various platforms and oversee the design and execution of visual projects for advertising, marketing, events, corporate branding, or a similar purpose. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects), PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office 365 Suite. This individual must utilize advanced training, skills, and talent to interpret and direct conceptual ideas to the team to create a comprehensive final product. Work independently (with stakeholders) to generate layouts, formats, and styles that are compelling and creative.
Work closely with clients/partners to develop a clear understanding of their needs and goals. Then, using this information, create compelling designs that effectively communicate these messages to their audience.
This position will report to the Marketing Director and is based out of Zones corporate headquarters in Auburn, WA. It will allow hybrid work remotely.

What you'll do as the Art Director:

Responsible for developing and creating vision and design for projects, making decisions on elements like images, typography, layout, colors, and written content.
Manage and oversee the standardization of the Zones corporate brand across all corporate media and collateral.
Oversee a team of designers and creatives, establishing budgets, deadlines, and creative visions for team members to follow. They will ensure that each team member creates visuals that match the overall aesthetic of the final product and adhere to the Zones brand standards. Will oversee the execution of projects and ensure they are on time and on budget.
Oversee the management, labeling, and archiving of created digital assets for projects.
Strong communication skills with team members, leadership, and clients, and the ability to independently manage overlapping deadlines.

What you will bring to the team:

Bachelor's degree in digital design, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in a professional digital design role.
10+ or more years of experience as a designer (preference given to technology-savvy designers).
A portfolio of previous digital design work to showcase experience and creativity.
Strong knowledge of design software programs, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects). Video editing knowledge for programs such as Premier Pro is a bonus.
Knowledge and competency of Generative AI, and how to apply this to creative projects.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Knowledge of the technology industry and digital marketing tools such as HubSpot, Ion by Rock Content, Creatopy, and digital landing page SaaS platform development is preferred.
Ability to present design ideas and concepts for campaigns and projects.
