You have deep knowledge of and experience with manufacturing processes. You understand the importance of building relationships, establishing order, and maintaining clear communication channels. As a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor, you are a leader who is willing to listen and inspire others by your actions. Your team is an extension of your family, and you know how to support them as individuals while helping them achieve results as a team. Note: There are two positions that are different schedules

1st option: Monday-Friday 1st Shift (7AM-3:30PM)

2nd option: Weekend Shift consist of 12hr. on weekends & 2 days/8hr. Shift during the weekdays

What you'll be doing

Oversee and lead a maintenance team that could include mechanics and technicians to support operations in an area

Facilitate, verify, and conduct appropriate training for employees in the area (including but not limited to GMP, troubleshooting, maintenance skills, and safety)

Ensure compliance with all GMP rules, specifications, SOPs, and FDA requirements as required.

Submit and/or maintain and distribute reports related to attendance, labor, maintenance metrics, safety, and others as needed.

Sustain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles

Learn, understand and apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

What you'll bring

Candidate must not be allergic to Penicillin or Cephalosporin Drugs

Demonstrated communication, administrative and strong technical leadership skills with ability to interface well with other departments and lead effectively and efficiently in a team environment. Solid professional writing skills. Then list preferred requirements for the role

Solid understanding of maintenance systems to include preventive maintenance and CMMS.

Ability to understand regulatory and safety guidelines applicable to the medical / pharmaceutical industry and industry in general. Experience and knowledge with Lockout / Tagout and other Safety Programs is a plus.

Understand verbal and written safety and quality instructions and read and comprehend written work instructions including words and drawings.

Must have basic English written and oral communication skills adequate to communicate with other team members.

Associate Degree in a scientific or engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 or more years of Industrial Maintenance experience / Manufacturing Supervision experience or equivalent.

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices.
