Description:

The Program Coordinator provides support for the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, & Cosmetic Surgery. The daily functions will include management of program services, outreach, and special projects for the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, & Cosmetic Surgery. The Program Coordinator will manage all program marketing activities & communications.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop community outreach plans to increase clinical and surgical volume for Plastic, Reconstructive, & Cosmetic surgery.
Act as primary liaison with surgical Plastic, Reconstructive, & Cosmetic program vendors.
Act as liaison to UIC affiliated hospitals on behalf of the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, & Cosmetic surgery.
Credentialing/Re-Appointments for Plastic, Reconstructive, & Cosmetic surgeons.
Assemble & develop marketing material to increase growth of program & community outreach for the Division of Plastic, Reconstructive, & Cosmetic surgery.
Develop program specific PowerPoint presentations on behalf of physicians to be presented during faculty workshops & seminars.
Responsible for organizing philanthropic meetings and special events, including acting as primary liaison between invitees & presenters/meeting sponsors.
Performs other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

Bachelor's degree.
A total of one (1) year (12 months) demonstrated experience with management of a clinical practice.
(Note: Master's Degree in an area consistent with the duties of the position may be substituted for one (1) year of work experience.)
