Job Description
- Oversee the development and implementation of international sales and marketing strategies for expansion of company’s sales to foreign markets
- Develop a thorough understanding of the company’s revenue priorities, products, customers and prospects
- Research the latest in the business industry to create new opportunities to expand business
- Identify international markets for potential customers
- Prepare business development, marketing plans and go to market strategies to support the strategic goals of the company with respect to international markets
- Provide short- and long-term international market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data
- Develop and administer marketing database that includes prospect and client information, access to documents and reports, applications of mailing list, etc.
- Contact potential customers to establish business relationships
- Manage all phases of the international sales cycle for each opportunity/lead
- Identify, create and support the capture of new and follow-on business opportunities as customer requirements evolve
- Use data and insights to support product recommendations
- Coordinate and facilitate contract negotiations and client presentations, as necessary
- Negotiate and close contracts
- Oversee efficient product flow, logistics strategies and international shipment management to meet customer demands.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues
- Maintain and grow existing relationships to drive more business opportunities
