Marketing Technology Manager

The Marketing Technology Manager will transform marketing technology at Huntington to enhance Huntington’s tech stack and achieve business objectives. Areas of focus include improvement of the marketing process, enhancing the customer experience, and increasing efficiency and effectiveness of marketing.

This role requires a high degree of cross-functional leadership and an in-depth knowledge of how technology functions within a large organization to grow the customer base & improve customer deepening. Responsibilities include creating a martech roadmap based on business objectives, identifying the best marketing software and technology solutions, defining potential business impact, deploying into the company’s technology stack, and ensuring teams are trained and inspired to implement.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can lead programs from strategy through to completion.

What you’ll do

+ Develop a fully integrated technology strategy built for the future of Marketing.

+ Identify and implement the best technology solutions and vendors to facilitate the tech strategy.

+ Socialize the importance of martech advancement and the business impact to leadership and colleagues.

+ Understand technology vendors and work with Sourcing to negotiate and onboard them.

+ Inspire and lead a cross-department team to implement and train them to use martech solutions.

+ Focus on improving the effectiveness and efficiency of marketing through:

+ personalized marketing orchestration

+ segmentation

+ increasing creative throughput

+ automating processes

+ implementing martech

+ using a customer data platform

+ Manage a robust test & learn agenda that maps to Huntington’s goals, then make recommendations based on learnings.

+ Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in martech, sharing insights and recommendations with the team.

+ Activate technology across various channels, including email, SMS, social media, search, and programmatic advertising.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

+ Experience implementing and using a Customer Data Platform.

+ Experience with performance based digital marketing programs and driving results through digital programs.

+ Experience collaborating with 3rd party vendors and agencies.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Ability to convey ideas to senior leadership.

+ Ability to develop working relationships with individuals at all levels of an organization.

+ Ability to work individually and motivate a team.

+ Understanding of latest marketing technology needed for a large organization.

+ Experience in marketing automation to deliver personalized marketing.

Basic Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree

+ A minimum of 7 years of experience with marketing technology

+ 6+ years in working in martech in a similar role

Exempt Status: (Yes = not eligible for overtime pay) (No = eligible for overtime pay)
