Ad Sales Global Internal Communications is seeking a curious, self-motivated, and creative communications professional who is looking to apply their skills and experience in innovative ways. An ideal candidate will want to be part of a team that does nothing but think about ways to more effectively communicate with colleagues to help them keep pace with the evolving suite of advertising products, services and systems. We’re looking for a candidate who can exercise high editorial judgment in communicating across a large global organization. The ideal candidate must possess talent for collaboration, have the ability to flex when needed, and agility to navigate a large-scale, complex business to deliver the most important information to employees. The ideal candidate has experience in communications, knowledge management, change management, and content development, with excellent writing skills and strong attention to detail.

Key job responsibilities

  • Be responsible for end-to-end communication workflows. To drive the right outcomes, you understand business goals for the area(s) you support. You take the time to identify stakeholder and partner team needs.
  • Be responsible for collecting data, writing PR/FAQs, and providing input on strategic planning.
  • Meet timelines and minimize disruption to internal customers. You include buffer time, plan for the unexpected, and exercise extremely high judgment in situations with narrow timeframes. You plan effectively to deliver timely, consistent, unambiguous content.
  • You proactively mitigate risks. You accelerate progress by driving crisp and timely decisions, clearing blockers, and escalating appropriately. You optimize program workflows and processes, making recommendations for improvements that support operational excellence.
  • Drive collaboration across tech/non-tech stakeholders to deliver clear, relevant, and timely information to Sales teams.

Basic Qualifications

- * 5+ years of recent internal communications experience in a complex corporate environment.

- * Bachelor’s degree in communications or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company

- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience in the high-tech or digital advertising industries.

- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Comfort collaborating with global teams.

- Proficient with MS Office products.

- Experience using Salesforce communications resources, such as knowledge management and alerts.

- Experience using internal social media (i.e., Workplace, FirstUp) and instant messaging platforms (i.e., Teams, Slack).

- Experience using video recording/editing software.

- Change management certified.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
