Wilson Language training is growing and is looking to hire Senior Contract & Legal Administrator.

This position is responsible for supporting Wilson-s contracts and compliance, providing legal and business support to minimize legal risk while facilitating the growth of the company. The Senior Legal & Contract Administrator is also responsible for creating and maintaining processes to support the evolving legal needs of WLT.

Essential Job Functions:

+ Support legal counsel as requested on a variety of topics, including management of customer-contract review and negotiation, data privacy, and IT security.

+ Act as a business partner for WLT colleagues by applying business and legal judgment to proposed customer or vendor relationships, and other issues requiring legal or compliance attention.

+ Review and support negotiation of a wide variety of commercial agreements — including customer contracts, RFPs, vendor agreements — and coordinate all necessary internal reviews and approvals.

+ Maintain and improve contract-management and record-retention systems and processes for scaling business.

+ Act as key legal partner to new and growing Sales organization.

+ Drive contractual compliance, including summarizing key provisions of contracts, coordinating operational stakeholders, and performing quality assurance on contract records on behalf of the business.

+ Maintain awareness of regulatory changes and their impact on contracts, including FERPA, COPPA, CPRA, and other state and federal privacy regulations.

+ Support business stakeholders by delivering periodic training sessions on relevant legal topics such as student-data privacy.

+ Assist legal and finance departments in managing acquisition of other businesses and integration of acquired entities on behalf of Finance and Legal teams, acting as project manager for back office integration planning.

+ Support Finance department in management of state registrations and tax filings, particularly in connection with acquired entities.

+ Must understand and display WLT-s values.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Skills:

+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.

+ Familiarity with contract-management tools such as Ironclad.

+ Must be able to work with highly confidential and sensitive documents and information and maintain confidentiality to protect the company.

+ Understanding of or legal ability to research and understand U.S. student data security laws including FERPA and COPPA.

+ Strong internet research skills.

+ Proficiency in MS Office Software products: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

+ Proficiency in contract-management systems (Ironclad preferred).

+ Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks.

+ Strong attention to detail.

+ Always exude professionalism, in all situations.

+ Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Interpersonal and communication skills required to interact with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.

Experience:

+ 10-12 years legal experience

Education or Certification:

+ Juris Doctor or master-s degree in relevant field

Wilson has identified the anticipated pay range for this role based on the many factors that we consider in defining compensation levels for our roles, including market data, and internal equity considerations. Actual pay, and allocation between base and any target discretionary bonus, will vary based on geographic location, education, work experience, skills, market data, and internal equity considerations. Anticipated Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000.
