LOCATION: Indianapolis IN, Philadelphia PA, Madison WI, Hagerstown MD, Kennesaw GA, Riverwoods IL (hybrid – 8 days in office per month)

OVERVIEW

You will draft, negotiate, review redlines and interpret complex license agreements and amendments and play a critical role in the contract process. Your role involves an emphasis on the contract red-lining process in accordance with business guidelines, company policies, and contracting practices and procedures, and assists in bringing deals to closure.

You will be responsible for reviewing quotes and preparing contracts for customers in accordance with pricing and product guidelines with a focus on the protection of the product and the accuracy in pricing the products being offered. This is an individual contributor role. You will report to the Manager, Contract Administration.

RESPONSIBILITITES

+ Drafts, reviews, and negotiates a high volume of license agreements and amendments and related documents.

+ Version control of redlines with multiple rounds of negotiation.

+ Manages the integrity of the document including clear commentary in response drafts.

+ Interprets complex license agreements and amendments.

+ Interacts with internal teams to facilitate the resolution of issues related to the license agreements and amendments.

+ Responds to routine questions related to contracts.

+ Responsible for processing signed contracts to ensure that the system data corresponding to a customer’s subscription order is in line with the details of their license agreement.

+ Responsible for advising our order entry team on any significant details of the order.

+ Educates our employees on contracting procedures.

+ Works closely with the Contracts, Finance, Legal, and Sales teams.

+ Proofreads, revises, and summarizes license agreements, amendments, and related documents.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: bachelor’s degree required. Paralegal or Juris Doctor degree preferred.

Experience:

+ 3+ years of experience in contract management and administration to include drafting; structuring; negotiating; interpreting complex contractual documents; and reviewing complex, redlined contracts.

+ Healthcare, pharmacy, or pharmaceutical manufacturer experience preferred.
