Job Description

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the industry of finance, located in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. The role is for a Sr. Accountant who will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and general ledger management in our workplace.

Responsibilities:

- Execute account reconciliation tasks with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.

- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation on a regular basis to ensure financial integrity.

- Manage bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are accounted for accurately.

- Oversee the general ledger, including the review and posting of journal entries.

- Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and financial analysis.

- Conduct month-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is captured.

- Operate NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP systems for financial management and reporting.

- Participate in financial audits, providing necessary information and explanations to auditors. Requirements – Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant or related field.

- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations.

- Demonstrable experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries.

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

- Previous experience in Month End Close procedures.

- Knowledge of NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP systems.

- Prior experience in Audit – Financial is a plus.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information.

- Compliance with all local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.

- CPA certification is preferred.

- Demonstrable commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
