Job Title: Embedded Software EngineerJob Description

Seeking a proficient Embedded Software Engineer to apply computer science and mathematical principles in designing, developing, testing, and evaluating embedded software and systems across various applications including medical, industrial, military, and communications. Responsibilities include software development, machine embedded software feature development, integration of software from models and libraries, software validation, and defect resolution.

Hard Skills

+ Model-based development using Matlab/Simulink

+ Embedded C software development

+ Knowledge of real-time operating systems

+ Experience with software development tools such as Git, debuggers, and compilers

Soft Skills

+ Problem-solving skills

+ Strong communication skills

Job Type

This is a contract position with a duration of 52 Weekly.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Chillicothe, Illinois and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid work environment utilizing standard embedded software development tools including Matlab/Simulink, an IDE, debuggers, and Git.
