Seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer with a passion for product design from concept to completion, including design for manufacturability. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and have 5-10 years of experience in a similar role. Experience in electronics manufacturing or testing, with a focus on stress, vibration, and thermal constraints, is essential. The role involves hands-on tasks such as building prototypes, testing, tearing down fixtures, and ensuring molds fit appropriately.

Hard Skills

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering

+ 5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering

+ Proficiency in Solidworks for 3D modeling and simulation design

+ Experience in electronics manufacturing or testing

Soft Skills

+ Ability to work cross-functionally and interface with hardware/software engineers

+ Willingness to interface with customers

+ Desire to be hands-on in the product design process

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Arlington Heights, Illinois and some days remote.

Work Environment

Hybrid work schedule – 3 days on-site, 2 days work from home.
