Robert Half is partnering with a highly esteemed law firm in Normal, Illinois who is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join their team.

Qualifications:

+ Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

+ Must be licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois

+ Previous experience handling workers’ compensation matters in Illinois is highly desirable (but open to training a newly barred attorney)

+ Superior written and oral communication skills

+ Excellent people skills

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Having a portable book of business is considered a significant asset

Responsibilities:

+ Independently manage your own caseload involving workers’ compensation matters, working cases from beginning to end

+ Collaborate closely with other attorneys on legal projects

+ Represent clients in a wide range of litigation claims related to workers’ compensation

+ Regularly handle court appearances and conduct depositions and trials

+ Maintain regular communication with clients, providing status reports and updating them on case progress
