The Security Solution Area Leader Small, Medium, Corporate ( SMC) Americas opportunity will allow you to lead at the forefront of technology by growing the Security business across Americas with unique responsibilities for accelerated business growth. The Security Solution Area Leader role is a role with responsibility for accelerating the growth of the Security solution area across the Americas region which includes the following Areas: US, CANADA and LATAM.

Responsibilities

+ Work with the Security sales teams and partners to accelerate the growth of Security revenue and to take market share from our competitors.

+ Collaborate with GPS to build a capable Security partner ecosystem that can win against the competition.

+ Drive joint territory planning and co-sell with key partners and work with GPS to build a consistent ROB cadence.

+ Collaborate effectively with Security SE&O to enable our sellers and drive brand awareness for Microsoft Security with our customers and partners.

+ Drive Solution Area performance excellence by working with Security Sales Excellence to implement T-13M sales execution rigor across the teams to drive healthy pipeline, Security revenue and partner performance and IAP metrics.

+ Coach managers and sellers so they build Security specialization.

+ Joint responsibility for Area Correction of Error plans.

+ Provide sales and technical expertise and thought leadership to connect solutions with business impact.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

+ 9+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience

+ OR Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

+ 6+ years of solution or services sales experience.

+ Strategic thinking & execution.

+ Purposeful Planner & Executor. Able to drive new sales through innovative methods, partnership events, social selling, and networking. Adept at gaining new market share.

+ Technical Expertise: Security, hybrid infrastructures, productivity, and industry standards proficiency

+ Certifications: SC-900, and AZ-900 certified (or ready within 3 months).

+ High Achiever: Surpass sales targets in assigned territory.

+ Leadership: Skilled in sales, partner management, executive communication, and influence.

+ Sales Mastery: Experienced in complex sales training and methodologies.

Digital Solution Area Specialists IC5 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $62.16 – $104.33 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $80.67 – $114.13 per hour.
