Job Summary
The Presales Solutions Engineer?- Network will work alongside Architects as a network expert supporting account teams, customers, and go-to-market initiatives.The Solutions Engineer will take a?consultative approach and lead discussions with clientsregarding?Network?platforms, understand how technology enables business, and recognize opportunities for the company.?This position is remote with a Home Office setup asdeterminedby SHI management.?This position is remote with a Home Office setup asdeterminedby SHI management.

Responsibilities
Includes, but not limited to: ?
+ Collaborate with account teams in understanding the maturity levels of customer environments through review and evaluation of Network technologies, consumption, implementations, and processes??
+ Strengthen our technical relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), strategic and emerging partners, and key partners??
+ Educate and develop sales teams on Network solution selling and key technologies through 1×1 training, team training, and company training??
+ Conduct product training and positioning for the Sales team and customer??
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experiencerequired?
+ Minimum 2 years of experience with Cisco networking products, including switches, routers, wireless, nexus, and Meraki, and familiarity with Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW)??
+ Advanced Certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, JNCIP,CASX, ACSP
+ Experience creating complex Visio diagrams??
+ Experience creating and presenting effective presentations??
+ Experience leading whiteboarding sessions?
Required Skills
+ Knowledge across the full scope of technical network solutions including route/switch, LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, cloud edge, virtual networking, secure access, and network visibility??
+ General understanding of network architecture frameworks such as TOGAF???
+ Ability to understand complex technical and selling situations and the ability tosolve problemsorsolicitthe required resources.???
+ Outstanding written and verbal communication??
+ Excellent negotiation and presentation skills??
+ Excellent troubleshooting/problem-solving skills??
+ Demonstrated technical knowledge and consultative skills.??
Preferred Skills: ?
+ Experience with Azure/AWS networking and securitysolutions?.Cloud Network Certs are a plus.
+ Experience with Splunk or FSO products
+ Experience withsimilar productsand solutions from other vendors?such as Aruba, Juniper, HPE,etc
+ Experience with software-defined networking technologiesincluding SD-WAN,SASE,SSE,etc
Unique Requirements
+ Travel up to 20% for customer meetings, internal meetings or engagements, travel to customer or partner sites, conferences,and SHI offices.
Additional Information
+ The estimated annual pay range for this position is $120,000 – $230,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
