Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be entrusted with receiving and executing job assignments through work orders, sketches, PM schedules, blueprints, or verbal instructions, while adhering to applicable codes and regulations. You will respond to emergency repair or replacement requests, and troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of production machinery and equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Your role will involve installations, machinery and equipment modifications and relocations, as well as fabrication, welding, mechanical, electrical, electronics, plumbing, and carpentry tasks. You will read and interpret manuals, schematics, blueprints, drawings, and other written installation and repair instructions. Additionally, you will perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance of assigned plant equipment, machinery, and systems. Your focus will primarily be on conveyor and production equipment, specifically working on blowing machinery, extrusion, and slitting machines, separate from the electricians and automation team.
