Responsibilities

 

The Website Administration Intern position will be tasked with leading the redevelopment of the Workplace Management team's internal website and associated SharePoint library and the creation of necessary process documents. The individual will report to the Facilities Manager. In this role, you will be a part of the team assisting in maintaining our team's webpage. You should have a keen interest in web technologies, user experience (UX), and digital content management. If you are excited to be part of a dynamic team and want to roll up your sleeves, this role is for you. The responsibilities for the position include:
AIR is seeking assistance in the day-to-day management and administration of the team's webpage on the intranet.
Support to update webpage content and ensure consistency across all pages.
Support the creation and maintenance of web pages, including layout adjustments, graphics, and multimedia content.
Monitor website performance and analytics and provide reports on key metrics such as traffic and user engagement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and improve webpage usability.
Report any technical issues related to webpage functionality and performance for resolution.
Aid in the creation of a process document for updating web page content.
Aid in the redesign of the Workplace Management Landing page. 

 


Qualifications

 

Education, Knowledge, and Experience:
Must be a current student pursuing a Bachelor's OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or a related field.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator).
Must be able to work 15 to 20 hours per week during the school year.
Skills:
Effective communicator with demonstrated ability to communicate with and understand the needs of both technical and non-technical internal and external clients.

Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with others in a virtual work environment.
Demonstrated ability to work well independently, and collaboratively with individuals at all levels and from diverse backgrounds.
Adept in a fast-paced environment to manage multiple concurrent deliveries.
