Major Duties:

1. Defines the solution strategy and ensure that this is executed on, against the entire life-cycle of the product solution and all of the issues that impact the delivery of a capability or service.

2. Executes against a product plan that accomplishes the strategic goals determined by senior management.

3. Develops a Long-Term Strategic Product Plan. The long-term strategic plan defines emerging product and revenue opportunities to expand market share, helps to resolve issues related to markets, the types of solutions and the opportunities that the company will invest in and the resources required to support product development.

4. Defines and execute against a Roadmap for the strategic plan

5. Implements Marketing, Promotional Communications, Sales Tools and Training for the team. Works with Strategic Marketing to develop all internal and external communication and positioning around the product. Responsible for creating sales tools and ensuring appropriate training is provided for the products supported.
6. Assists in Sales and Distribution Channel Support. Responsible for driving sales and distribution support for their product. Responsible for ensuring that their products are being sold by supporting functions.
7. Monitors Financial and Profitability Management. Ensure coordination with operations and financial management to monitor capital expenses, revenue and expenses. Shape the financial contribution of the product.
8. Responsible for coordinating the resolution of issues of government compliance and attempts to minimize the systemic risks of offering a solution.

9. Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise

10. Focus of role is on execution of strategic direction of business function activities

11. Carries out complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues

12. Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity

Knowledge:

  • Deep knowledge of the products and relevant markets.
  • Proven background in negotiation with clients with significant wins and in building revenue and business.
  • Strong client servicing and presentation skills and Strong ability to influence at all levels of organization to ensure delivery.
  • Proven leadership skills in building business and bringing people along.
  • Strong organizational skills in order to effectively execute.
  • Ability to convey solutions at across wide domain of expertise/ functions. Ability to run effective and highly professional and interactive client workshops- understand clients problem, assess what is required to be delivered and consult internally to deliver solutions from existing or new capabilities



Experience:

  • 10 years in the asset servicing/ asset management industry with minimum 5 years in a Product Solutions Management role
