Job Description

The Specialty Team Manager will support the team to ensure we bring our best to every pursuit and are fully compliant in every respect. You'll work with Sales and Pursuit leadership to define and drive consistent processes, allocate and balance the team's workload, coach proposal managers at various stages of career development, gather feedback from executive stakeholders, and drive cross-functional collaboration across the organization. As a hands-on leader, you'll also be able to step in to support key pursuits and ensure memorable and compelling proposals that drive new business.

Responsibilities
Lead a team of 5-8 Proposal Managers and Senior Proposal Managers supporting high impact bids across North America and globally.
Support a culture that drives excellence while encouraging balance and belonging
Identify and execute process improvements and best practices related to proposal management.
Demonstrate ability to lead, inspire, and mentor colleagues and direct reports
Drive adoption and compliance with highly complex proposal processes
Champion efforts to ensure creative deliverables that promote the firm's brand.
Support key pursuits activities, leveraging the opportunity to lead by doing and to demonstrate a client-first, best-practice mindset.

Qualifications
Five or more years of related business development marketing communications experience, with at least two of those working directly in B2B proposal team management in commercial real estate or professional services
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effective coaching skills, and the ability to interface with senior leadership and direct large diverse teams though complex pursuits
Recognized as a motivator and mentor
High degree of energy, assertiveness and creativity
Understanding of how design and visuals build impact
Demonstrated ability to analyze, assimilate, coordinate, and respond to RFIs, RFPs
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and Adobe Suite
