Our client, the world's leading search engine and technology company, is seeking a Business Governance Lead, Global Strategy & Operations.  This is a 6 month + contract and 100% remote position located in Chicago, IL.

Summary:
Our Strategy and Operations Team sits in the client cloud GTM Global Strategy and Operations Organizations and is responsible for running global business governance and managing projects related to business governance across Cloud.
We work closely with Cloud regional and functional leaders and StratOps teams.
Responsibilities:
Drive, maintain and coordinate Global Operations Calendar and rhythm of the business for consistency and aligned execution across all cloud groups.
Follow up on asks and action items and consolidate business insights.
Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Regional Strategy and Operations, Enablement and Central Strategy and Operations Business Intelligence teams to identify, develop and land initiatives that simplify, streamline and standardize Business Cadences and their dependencies.
Ensure focus and drive insights on key strategic business priorities across all global initiatives and cadences with particular focus on running the Fast Start Program (consolidated resources and communications for GTM managers), Consolidated Forecasting in partnership with business intelligence team, and implementing the revamped global large deal review process (as well as other projects that arise).
Work with stakeholders in global and regional strategy and operations (including enablement and change mgmt) to coordinate development and execution of core programs, with initial focus on:
Fast Start
Consolidated Forecasts
Large Deal Review
Work with stakeholders to identify, develop and land initiatives that simplify, streamline and standardize Business Cadences and their dependencies.
Develop written materials related to the above including slides, documents, and emails for an executive audience.

Requirements:
BA required (preferably in business).
Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in sales operations, management consulting, general business operations, or sales related program management including project execution and strategic planning.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities, assess risks, and make data-driven decisions..
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, adept at collaborating across diverse teams and fostering strong relationships.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
Business operations knowledge:
Knowledge of the management process of business operations for a given product, service, or domain. This includes understanding the broader context of generating, securing, and increasing the value of business and revenue outcomes, and knowledge of and experience with driving efficiency and effectiveness of businesses.
Consultative skills:
Ability to understand stakeholder needs through dialogue before conducting analysis and making recommendations.
Dashboarding and presentation:
Ability to create dashboards to link, report, and analyze metrics based on available data.
This includes the ability to prepare effective presentations in content and function, and to speak competently to the level of the audience.
Data analysis and synthesis:
Ability to analyze information, draw conclusions, generate alternatives and solutions, and evaluate outcomes.
This includes the ability to use data to add value to business planning and strategies.
Data judgment Ability to convert and/or uncover open-ended real world problems within the business context into trackable metrics or a structured analytical/statistical framework, as well as the ability to generate business-related insights from data analysis in a way that is meaningful to the stakeholders. Domain-specific knowledge and skills:
Ability to develop, understand, and apply domain-specific technical knowledge to complete assigned work, tasks, and support others in the organization.
Experimental design Knowledge of the principles and best practices of designing experiments to address issues or evaluate impact.
This includes knowledge of design parameters, sampling strategies, data collection, and analytical techniques.
Industry knowledge:
Knowledge of the changing landscape of the industry, product areas, other key players, and/or markets including technology trends and issues that affect the operations of one???s business and organization. Project management skills:
Ability to effectively prioritize work, display reasonable judgment in setting priorities, and recognizing when help is needed.
This includes the ability to determine long-??term versus short-??term priorities.
Statistical analysis:
Knowledge of advanced statistical methods used to analyze data.
