PositionHighlights:
Position: Interventional Procedures Cardiac Cath Technologist
Location: Glenbrook Hospital
Full Time/Part Time:Full-Time (40hrs/wk)
Hours:Day Shift 7am-5:30pm, rotating weekends and on -call
Required Travel: Limited

What you will need:
License:N/A, RCIS (Preferred)
Education:2 Year Degree in an allied health field from an accredited school or equivalent
Certification:CPR Certified, ACLS within 1 year
Experience:One year Cath Lab or related health care experience preferred
Skills:Self-motivation, technical skills
What you will do:
Be under the direct supervision of the manager and the overall supervision of the Cath/EP Lab Lead Tech and Cath/EP Lab Manager
Perform a variety of technical and clinical duties which require independent judgment to function as an integrated part of the laboratory team of technicians, nurses and physicians performing diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures
Monitor cardiac rhythm, hemodynamic waveform and provide detailed documentation during routine and complex cardiology procedures
Provide monitoring, during cardiogenic shock, acute MI, and cardiac arrest
Interpret EKG rhythm disorder andhemodynamic abnormalities
Become familiar with EKG and hemodynamic waveform recognition
Maintain responsibility for proper patient records and procedure logs
Charge and complete all required documentation for procedures
