Job Description

Senior Clearing and Post-Trade Product Management Associate (Multiple Positions), Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Inc., Chicago, IL. Identify requirements from our external clients/firms and internal teams. Validate clearing solutions and requirements and partner with internal groups to expand and strengthen clearing services. Create detailed requirement specification document for both external and internal teams. Automate and streamline regular tasks, prepare, and execute on UAT test plans and ensure external adoption of the solutions. Design conversion methodology for converting IBOR referenced index swaps to OIS referenced index swaps. Educate internal teams before production roll out on the changes. Provide support for information technology production and client services teams and escalate issues. Develop quality assurance tools, add unit tests, and build checkout scripts for number comparisons with NR/Production numbers and support validation during checkouts. Help clients on their queries related clearing services.

40 hrs/week, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and four (4) years of related work experience. In the alternative, the employer will accept six (6) years of related work experience.

Must have three (3) years of experience with/in:

  • IBOR transition and ISDA Fallback methodology;

Must have four (4) years of experience with/in:

  • Futures and Options markets and OTC Interest rate Derivative products;
  • Know-how of OTC (IRS & FX) Clearing and Exchange operations;
  • FpML and FIXML messaging;
  • Affirmation platforms and back-office bookkeeping systems such as GMI;
  • Knowledge of derivatives products structure, pricing, and cash flows such as Basis, Swap, OIS, FRA, VNS, FX Forwards, or Equity Swaps; and
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data analysis.

Up to 5% domestic travel required.
