Your Role At Baxter:
This position oversees the FP&A system team supporting the Baxter EPM system and acts as the conduit between the Baxter FP&A community and the related collaborators. The role helps to interpret business requirements and provides guidance on the long-term strategy for internal FP&A systems, based on the needs of Baxter business partners. Analyzes business needs to help ensure technical solutions meet various business's objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercise judgment and discernment in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on non-routine and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to direct-report teams, and effectively influences business leadership on key decisions.

What You'll be Doing:
Lead the management of Baxter's existing Oracle EPM system, including ongoing planning, design, development, implementation, and maintenance.
Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and requirements and work with the technical team to design and implement solutions to meet those needs.
Ensure the Baxter EPM system is secure, scalable, and dependable with appropriate business continuity plans in place.
Lead all aspects of the team responsible for the EPM system, including setting goals and objectives, providing performance feedback, and developing the skills and knowledge of team members.
Provide technical guidance and support to business collaborators and work with them to resolve any issues or problems they may encounter with the EPM system.
Monitor and report on the performance and effectiveness of the EPM system and make recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure the EPM system integrates with other Baxter systems and processes and that data is accurately and efficiently exchanged between systems.
Oversee BaxIntel, Baxter's Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDH) to ensure that the EPM system integrates with the EDH for financial information and that data flows smoothly and accurately between systems.
Lead the management of legacy Hillrom's EPM system and the on-going monthly data feeds to Baxter FCCS and Baxter EPM and BaxIntel.
Provide guidance and direction to the further integration of legacy Hillrom systems to Baxter's, including the effort to shut down legacy Hillrom's HFM and EPM systems and transfer to Baxter FCCS and EPM.
Take ownership of all other related projects to improve FP&A system. Provide inputs to the FP&A system short & long-term roadmaps.
Provide input to the Director of FP&A EPM Systems regarding long term strategy for internal FP&A systems, including EPM and EDH.

What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree required
5 plus years of working experience with Oracle EPBCS
Strong analytical skills, decision-making capabilities knowledge of GAAP accounting principles!
Good presentation skills.
Deep capacity for influencing businesses and guiding them towards industry best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle a variety of different role's aspects simultaneously and capable of managing multiple deadlines.
Independently organizes and performs most work required with minimal guidance and direction
Proactive, results oriented, with a can-do attitude in meeting critical deadlines
