Overall Purpose
The Product Data Analyst is responsible for leading efforts to use data & quantitative methods to provide product insights & growth opportunities, setting direction & roadmap for data reporting, partnering with data engineering & product managers on data and report requirements. This role will need to communicate with senior leadership across the organization.

Essential Functions:
Understands key data elements and communicates their business definitions & implications.
Performs data mapping and data lineage activities to trace the data element from source to reports.
Performs data profiling activities to ensure data is clean and accurate. Identifies data quality issues, risks, and overall trends; provides recommendations and critical insights to improve data.
Performs advanced ad hoc analysis (using tools like Python and SQL) to support business needs.
Experience collaborating with reporting users & decision makers to ensure their key questions are addressed by available dashboards.
Participates in the development and implementation of data-related strategies and initiatives.
Communicates complex findings and recommendations to stakeholders, including senior management, in a clear and concise manner, enabling informed decision-making.
Influences product direction based on data insights.
Supports the company's commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.

Minimum Qualifications
Education or experience equivalent to a Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 4 years or more of progressive, qualifying experience data analytics, data science, business analytics or related experience is required.
The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently and serve as a trusted expert for assigned duties as part of a team.
Passion for performing data deep dives and using statistical techniques to uncover significant insights.
Ability to learn quickly, think critically, and apply problem-solving skills to resolve issues and implement process improvements.
Demonstrated business acumen within knowledge and understanding of business issues, priorities, goals, and strategy is necessary, including long-term thinking and ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and disseminate complex data-related issues and propose effective solutions.
Must possess strong organization skills, including the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects to meet various deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in data manipulation tools such as SQL and Python.
Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) to create impactful reports.
Demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels of the organization is necessary; must be able to clearly articulate technical ideas to a non-technical audience both verbally and in writing.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Background and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AWS, Redshift, Quicksight, Athena
Master's degree in quantitative discipline.
Prior experience working in payments, financial services, or similar regulated industry.

Physical Requirements
Early Warning works together in a highly collaborative office environment.Working conditions consist of a normal office environment.
