Who we are looking for:
As Resource Manager, you will be passionate about building highly effective teams, and creating an environment where people come to do their best work. Your focus will be to ensure the right talent is working on the right project, in service of creating world-class experiences for our clients. This is all achieved by balancing the priorities of the business alongside the career aspirations of the talent, in a very dynamic landscape. You will have experience in an agency environment supporting staffing across departments including but not limited to strategy, technology, client service and project management.
What you'll do:
Determines the right strategy to optimize talent and partners with core teams to make that a reality.
Proactively forecasts and maintains knowledge of projects across the team, building strong relationships with Client engagement, Delivery and Campaign Program Management.
Has a pulse on the overall health and happiness of the book of business, ensuring any talent concerns are escalated to leadership through the appropriate channels
Alerts leads of any potential concerns or issues in meeting key client deliverables due to resourcing and makes recommendations to resolve
When internal options have been exhausted, identifies needs for freelance talent, manage relationships with staffing partners, in support of recruiting the best in the industry to support short-term needs
Works with the Talent team to on-board new hires and freelancers
Works with delivery and project management leads to ensure internal resourcing platform (RAFT) is up to date
Continuously strategizes new ideas for process improvements and better ways to foster a connected and inclusive agency culture.
Collaborates with leaders to improve resourcing tools, reports and other data sources used to help with the optimization of talent.
Is a ninja when it comes to balancing the talent requirements, availability, and the financial considerations that make up casting the right talent.
What you'll need:
2+ years of resource management in advertising/marketing industry
Firm grasp of the creative process within an agency environment and a love of creating order in the chaos
Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to motivate and influence across all levels of seniority
Comfortable working in an environment of constant change and doing so with a positive attitude
Proactive and confident in prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced environment
