If you're interested in administering HR policies and procedures regarding Talent Acquisition and Employee Relations and Benefits, our Human Resources Associate role may be for you! We invite you to consider joining our Human Resources team.

Responsibilities:

• Foster a teamwork/open-door environment conducive to positive dialogue across the Bank
• Work within the HR Znuny queue and answer general questions for all areas of HR while escalating inquiries to others as needed
• Provide administrative support to all functional areas within HR according to established procedures and legal guidelines
• Coordinate, assist with and/or attend meetings, events, job fairs and other types of gatherings
• Maintain and update procedures for routine duties
• Maintain general knowledge of various employment laws and practices
• Respond in a timely and professional manner to all employee questions and requests
• Process new hires, status changes, and terminations in a timely manner

Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-3 years’ experience in Banking, HR, or related field

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of Heartland Bank’s total compensation package for employees.
