Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Digital Solutions developer to join our corporate IT team. This role is working onsite and can be located at our corporate office in Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL (Near O'Hare).
The Senior Digital Solutions Developer will be responsible for the ongoing strategic development and deployment of RPA and automation technologies across Komatsu Americas and Komatsu Mining. This individual will work closely with business stakeholders to understand and translate needs and challenges into innovative technology solutions to drive growth and efficiency. The Senior Digital Solutions Developer will also be responsible for the strategic development of RPA solutions and articulating the capabilities and impacts to non-technical stakeholders. You will be a key part in the design and implementation of our RPA roadmap. This position will work with business and IT personnel to shape Komatsu's future towards an innovation-driven organization, creating and expanding new business enablement capabilities, and leveraging new and emerging technology to enable business growth.


Key Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders and ICT leadership to design and implement integration strategies across both KAC and KMC business operations.
Build automation workflows with RPA platforms such as UiPath.
Provide guidance and technical leadership to development teams during the design, development, and deployment phases of RPA projects, leveraging UI Path's capabilities.
Actively design and implement new automations that align with the organization's business goals and strategic initiatives.
Evaluate existing automations and implement/recommend process improvements.
Continuously identify new applicable technologies and analyze potential impact to the organization while evaluating feasibility for implementation.
Manage and maintain positive external partner relationships and continuously evolve our partner ecosystem.
Perform quantitative and qualitative assessments for strategic planning and actioning.
Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues in UI Path.
Thoroughly report activity updates and status to leadership while proactively mitigating risks and issues
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all RPA solutions, including design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
Conduct thorough code reviews to ensure quality and compliance with coding standards and practices.
Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior RPA developers and other team members.
Stay updated with the latest RPA trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve and optimize RPA solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in RPA development.
Experience including requirements and business process analysis, design and test, implementation, and support.
Large scale enterprise implementation experience
Experience working in UI Path is preferred.
Strong background with fundamental Azure concepts including organization of Azure resources and securing access to resources using role-based access control.
Exceptional communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial and highly innovative with an effective team work ethic.
Experience in writing technical requirements and/or design specifications.
Strong business acumen with ability to work cross-functionally to understand complex problems and logically determine resolutions.
Aptness to articulate technology capabilities and significance to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to transform challenges into innovative opportunities and develop actionable roadmaps for execution.
Ability to establish, build and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
