Position Overview
The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Recruitment and Resources Specialist. Subject to management approval, this position will coordinate, monitor, and develop the foster care recruitment program for an assigned area, working to ensure the effective implementation of a locally focused, targeted foster home recruitment plan. The position will travel to various locations to host, attend, and/or conduct community presentations to recruit foster families. This position will utilize Spanish speaking skills in the performance of duties. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about children and interested in helping ensure that foster families are available for children in care.
