Position Summary:
As a Compensation and Benefits Specialist at Carl Buddig and Company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring competitive and equitable compensation and benefits programs for our employees. Reporting to the Payroll and Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and administering various compensation and benefits initiatives to support our workforce's needs and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed analysis of compensation and benefits data, including salary surveys, market trends, and internal equity reviews.
Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, including base pay structures, incentive plans, and recognition programs.
Oversight and processing requests for employees requesting FMLA for all Illinois and Indiana locations.
Administration and oversight of open enrollment including meeting with locations regarding benefits and planning site meetings as needed.
Processes Administrative Payroll bi-weekly.
Support annual merit increase processes, ensuring fairness and alignment with company goals.
Coordinate the administration of employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement savings, and wellness initiatives.
Collaborate with HRIS team to ensure accurate data management and reporting related to compensation and benefits.
Work with VP of HR to provide guidance and support to plan location and managers on compensation and benefits-related matters.
Monitor legislative changes and industry trends to ensure compliance with regulations and competitive positioning.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
3+ years of experience in compensation and benefits analysis.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
