Responsibilities

 

Due to continued growth, our Nuclear Services Group is seeking a full time Engineering Manager to join the North Division based in our Naperville, IL location.
The following responsibilities are representative of the duties and accountabilities of this position but are not a complete and exhaustive list. Employees may be required to perform additional duties as well as those listed below:
Develop and maintain client relationships, develop and review proposals and customer interaction
Provide coaching, mentoring, performance reviews and career development opportunities for our Team
Oversee staff, quality of deliverables, schedules and budgets
Hire, develop and direct staff activities
Participate in technical recruiting programs
Assist with development and execution of business plan, market assessment and planning, contract negotiation, product and service development
Support marketing efforts, including identification of new business opportunities, proposal preparation, etc.

 


Qualifications

 

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited university; and 10 years' experience in the US Commercial Nuclear Power Industry - OR - Appropriate industry recognized licenses/certifications indicating achievement in Engineering; and 12 years' experience in the US Commercial Nuclear Power Industry
4+ years of supervision/management experience with a demonstrated ability to lead people
Demonstrated technical expertise in one or more broad areas of engineering
Advanced knowledge of applicable government codes and industry standards
Demonstrated excellent organizational, time management, strategic planning, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills
Ability to travel between 50% of the time; duration of travel may vary depending on project and client needs, ranging from a few days to a few weeks
Must be able to gain authorization/clearance to access regulated electric utility facilities
PE License preferred
