Job Description
Xpress Shop Inc (East Dundee, IL) seeks Automotive Technician to diagnose, adjust and repair commercial vehicles. Specific duties include: inspecting vehicles for damage and recording findings to facilitate necessary repairs; testing vehicles using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices; testing and adjusting repaired systems to meet manufacturers’ performance specifications; repairing, relining, replacing, and adjusting brakes and steering systems; diagnosing and repairing electrical and electronic systems; replacing or repairing transmissions and fuel components as needed; repairing cooling components and systems, including air conditioners and engine cooling; performing emissions inspections, safety checks, and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations; maintaining a clean and safe working environment; producing legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.
