SUMMARY:

Lundbeck US is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and highly experienced individual for the position of Director Enterprise Data Strategy and BI. This individual will have primary responsibility of leading the data strategy that is aligned with business goals driven by portfolio strategic priorities. This individual will also be responsible to identify and leverage opportunities to utilize data for innovation and growth across Lundbeck US. This individual will also be leading the design, development and deployment of modern business intelligence tools that are tailored to meet the business goals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

+ Focus on building and managing effective team with core focus on people development and enterprise thinking.

+ Lead enterprise data strategy aligned to the brand and portfolio strategic priorities and seamlessly integrate data strategy into the overall business strategy.

+ Partner with internal IT team to design, implement, and optimize data architectures to meet business needs and priorities.

+ Lead end to end data lifecycle, including data acquisition, processing, and consumption.

+ Lead a robust data quality management system to ensure data integrity and single source of truth across all data assets

+ Partner with compliance team to ensure data privacy regulations are followed according to industry standards.

+ Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.

+ Design, develop, implement a robust modernized digital reporting platform to ensure strategy and execution is built on a 360-degree analytics and data-driven insights.

+ Lead both front-end and back-end design and development of the reporting algorithm.

+ Promote the use of advanced analytics, machine learning, and data science by supporting with right platforms and data processes.

+ Present a visual story of complex data and insights in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical audience.

+ Ensure effective communication of data-related issues, challenges, and initiatives across the organization.

+ Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement and encourage knowledge sharing and professional development within the team.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:

+ Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field such as computer science is required

+ 8+ years of of relevant experience in quantitative fields demonstrating continuous career progression in strategy and implementation roles.

+ Previous experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industries

+ Experience in leading people, with a track record for developing a high performing team

+ Demonstrated leadership and project management skills in a team setting, especially in situations where team members are not direct reports

+ Deep expertise in of pharma market data, vendors, technology platforms and best practices

+ Proficient in various patient-level data as well as other syndicated patient data sources

+ Excellent analytical and strategic thinking, with ability to connect the dots to understand all the interdependency and big picture and translate strategy and analysis to a tactical, executable solutions

+ Excellent oral and written communication skills, demonstrated through presentation and with the ability to simplify complex matters and communicate with all levels of an organization.

+ Demonstrated ability to foster enterprise-wide innovation and transformation through thought leadership, exemplary written and interpersonal communication skill

+ Ability to lead collaboration without direct authority and navigate in ambiguous environment and agility to adapt changing priorities of the organization

+ Able to identify best practices and contribute to continuous improvement

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and SKILLS:

+ Prior experience in building and leading data automation initiatives

+ Experience with data partners, IT and analytics consultants to onboard data & analytics services

TRAVEL:

+ Willingness/Ability to travel up to 20% domestically. International travel may be required.

The range displayed is a national range, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. Salary Pay Range: $230,000 – $260,000 and eligibility for a 25% bonus target based on company and individual performance, and eligibility to participate in the company’s long-term incentive plan.
