What Strategic Planning/Execution contributes to Cardinal Health

Strategy is responsible for leadership, direction and expertise in the development of business strategy, strategic management disciplines and business analytics that support the company’s mission vision and valuation objectives, in close collaboration with business leaders.

Strategic Planning/Execution is responsible for developing and supporting the realization of strategic plans and management agendas.

Responsibilities

+ Provides thought leadership to drive innovation and transformation across the organization.

+ Serve as product owner/capability owner on IT projects to both manage the impact of change on business operations and ensure the business strategic objectives are executed and implemented resulting in organizational value.

+ Identify process, technology and automation opportunities and contribute to Roadmap development.

+ Facilitate the relationship and discussions between IT and business in rolling out new technology capabilities.

+ Working closely with business project lead and process SMEs, provide process transformation and business analysis and project management skills to drive business initiatives to standardize and optimize processes.

+ Provide change and thought leadership, analyzing/questioning data, looking for opportunities for improvement, and helping to determine how to leverage new capabilities to do things differently.

+ Perform detailed data, business process and options analysis and develop recommendations to present to business leaders.

+ Drive business decisions across multiple stakeholders.

+ Business process design and documentation; Gather and present business requirements, participate in IT detailed requirements sessions as well as user acceptance testing.

+ Provide support to Change Management and Training teams to drive change management and new process training with internal teams, external stakeholder teams, suppliers, and customers.

+ Lead cross functional, cross location teams, in building new solutions, identifying, and resolving issues, tracking status, etc.

+ For contact center technologies (Work routing, Case Management, Quality/Performance Management, Knowledge Management, etc), understand business processes, pain points and requirements across business units, evaluate new tools and make recommendations for implementing new capabilities. Drive the rollout of the new capabilities.

+ Evaluate capabilities of new organizations joining Global Business Services and recommend opportunities to bring the new organization on par with other areas within GBS.

+ Create business cases, estimate business benefits/value, gather IT estimates, track benefits post project deployment.

Qualifications

+ 8-12 years of experience, preferred

+ Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

+ Technical and or operational experience with contact center solutions such as Routing/Workflow Management, Case Management, Workforce Management, Quality/Performance Management, Knowledge Management, Agent Co-Pilot, Virtual Agent as well as eCommerce and Self-Service capabilities, preferred

+ Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills; Provide analytical/data insights to support business hypothesis and decision making.

+ Customer Service operations experience; knowledge of customer service and self-service processes & technology as well as Medical and/or Pharma businesses, preferred

+ Expert in analysis of processes to ensure and promote effective business and systems operations through standardization, improvement, and simplification

+ Knowledge of software development methodologies such as waterfall and agile.

+ Excellent communication and presentation delivery skills.

+ Balances tactical day to day challenges with the strategic direction of project.

+ Strong organization, facilitation, and project management skills.

+ Adept at working with a variety of personalities and driving consensus across a varied set of stakeholders.

+ Provides solutions which may set precedent

+ Independently determines method for completion of new projects

+ Receives guidance on overall project objectives

+ Acts as a mentor to less experienced colleagues

Anticipated salary range: $102,000 – $145,700
