MANAGER MORTGAGE FULFILLMENT

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Manager Mortgage Fulfillment will supervise the Operations department. This position is responsible for leading, training and coaching the Residential team who are engaged in originating, evaluating, processing, closing and funding Residential Loan (including HELOC) applications according to business and regulatory standards. The Manager will assist with escalated issues while providing efficient loan turnaround to clients.

What you will do

+ Provides operational leadership to achieve high quality customer service. Monitors production, quality and timeliness of work flow for processing and closing functions; analyzes and monitors departmental workflow; implements policies/guidelines for uniformity and quality standards; ensures compliance to regulatory requirements.

+ Thorough understanding of the mortgage loan processing software for loan origination, credit approval, document preparation, production tracking and general accounting in order to verify and ensure accuracy of the data input/output for loans. Train new employees and troubleshoot known issues when necessary.

+ Reviews and recommends new methods and procedures to make daily operations in the area more efficient.

+ Creates and/or maintains appropriate written departmental operating procedures.

+ Remains current on changes within the legal, regulatory, economic, competitive and technology environments which may affect the mortgages lending operation function.

+ Maintains activity data and prepares weekly and monthly reports required by leadership.

+ Provides daily coaching, feedback and training to employees to ensure employees are meeting job expectations. Makes recommendations for hiring, promotions, salary increases, and terminations.

+ Helps ensure collaboration between sales and operations functions.

+ Sets and implements department goals, enhancements to the current product line, and improved operational efficiency.

+ May assist with progressive disciplining of staff up to and including separation of employment.

+ Supervise staff to ensure client service levels and goals are met.

+ Assists Management to ensure that critical deadlines are met on all applications and loans.

+ Anticipates issues facing the department and/or organization and develop innovative solutions to streamline work processes and support operational objectives.

+ Takes ownership and proactive action quickly and when needed and approach
