Experience and Education
+ 6-8 years of development experience using Java/J2EE, Spring Frameworks, Spring Boot, ElasticSearch, Marklogic, SQL, and Restful Webservices.
+ BS in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required.
RequirementsKey Responsibilities
+ Interface with the product team and team members to finalize requirements.
+ Implement requirements following SDLC best practices and assist others through code and design reviews.
+ Operate in an Agile development environment while collaborating with key stakeholders.
+ Resolve technical issues as necessary, including security vulnerabilities.
+ Stay updated on new technology developments.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Technical Skills
+ Experience working with large data stores using tools such as Marklogic, AuroraDB, and ElasticSearch.
+ Hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Java platforms.
+ Experience working with Java 11 and above.
+ Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, and ORM technologies (JPA, Hibernate).
+ Proficiency in Agile DevOps tools such as Gradle, GIT, Bamboo, Jenkins, IntelliJ, and Nexus.
+ Knowledge of test-driven development.
+ Ability to work with an agile mindset and avoid an over-the-wall approach.
+ Strong ability to collaborate with internal and external technology resources.
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Role and Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and test feature and security-related user stories within the sprint timelines.
+ Participate in all scrum ceremonies and help meet the release delivery cadence.
+ Engage in tech debt improvements including bug fixes, code refactoring, and improving operational resilience.
+ Bring new ideas to improve the overall health of the system and reduce downtime.
+ Enhance the security posture of the application and codebase.
