This position is for a Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to support a text to speech project for telephony systems. This role will design and implement strategies, tests debug and define corrective actions review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics. The QA engineer should monitor all stages of software development to identify and design functional, integration and end to end scenarios and execute them. They must be able to build consistent and efficient tests delivering them on-time. The QA engineer must have an engineering background and enjoy providing end-to-end testing solutions to software quality problems. Daily activities include:

  • Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans and strategies (manual and automated).
  • Learn quickly and be flexible.
  • Implement automation frameworks and automated regression tests.
  • Work with leadership, engineering, and QA team members to triage issues, testing, and verification of bug fixes.
  • Design and develop end-to-end test cases and execute those.
  • Design and develop automation scripts using Call Center automation tools like Hammer and Cyana
  • Understand the database technologies and verify the data in backend systems using SQL.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of IVR manual & automation testing experience

Strong Postman API manual and automation experience

Test lead experience (managing test case design, test data, test execution)

Experience with IVR automation tools – Hammer or Cyana

Able to support mid-shift schedule (1pm IST to 10:30pm IST) null
