JOB SUMMARY

The Systems Engineer – Collaboration Products serves as technical resource in a complex array of solutions. An ideal candidate will exhibit strong communications skills, be self-motivated, adaptable, and dependable. This individual will play a critical role contributing to the engineering and support of Technology Workplace Products End User Technology Collaboration Products and Services. They will contribute to resolving complex issues and providing input for decisions on more complex, non-routine service requests with limited to moderate risk. This role will be called upon to make contributions into research, analysis, design, creation, and implementation of systems to meet current and future user requirements. This individual will participate in multiple projects to help ensure successful completion.

Required Education & Experience:

+ Undergraduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and/or equivalent experience/certification

+ 5+ years’ progressive experience in information technology engineering

+ 3+ years engineering experience with Microsoft 365 Collaboration Products that developed expertise in:

+ Online services, configurations, and licensing

+ Collaboration tool administration (e.g., Box, SharePoint, One Drive, Teams)

+ File & Folder sharing

+ Integrations with Microsoft 365 security tooling, as well as other security tooling such as Splunk, Crowdstrike, etc

+ 2+ years’ experience in Agile delivery, user-centered design, design thinking, heuristic analysis, and Riskiest Assumption Testing methods

+ 2+ years’ experience integrating emerging technology business using both on premise and cloud infrastructure preferably in a large, global business

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

+ Strong attention to detail with an ability to operate effectively across competing priorities

+ Demonstrated ability to perform independently as a member of a team and through cross functional initiatives.

+ Experience in researching emerging technologies and trends, contributing to security standards and implementations

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills

+ 2+ years’ experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Ping Identity and other federated identity providers.

+ Related certifications (Box Certified Professional, Microsoft)

+ Demonstrated understanding of security policies and solutions for Collaboration Products such as SharePoint, One Drive, Teams, Box, Zoom, etc.

+ Knowledge of identity management via Microsoft Active Directory and Azure AD services

+ Ability to interact with Information Security teams and contribute to best practices for security within all Collaboration Products.

+ Understanding of emerging tools, software, applications, and systems within the Collaboration Products ecosystem.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

+ Participate in security incident response activities, as needed.

+ Participate in evaluation, investigation, and testing of new technologies with other teams

+ Contributes technical knowledge in the identification and reporting on emerging cyber threats and risks to Collaboration Products

+ Coordinate and report on cyber incidents, as required, and make recommendations for mitigation and remediation

+ Provides input to the overall architecture, operational governance model of cloud solutions

+ Supports analysis of the current environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommends solutions for improvement

+ Consults with project teams to assist in identifying when it is necessary to modify services to accommodate project needs

+ Partners with cyber and compliance leadership to help ensure that the collaboration products and systems are compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.

+ Aids in the development and execution of delivery plans in close coordination with technical and non-technical stakeholders to achieve desired timelines and roadmaps

+ Contributes to engineering, oversight, governance, and tactical direction related to the cloud collaboration services that are required to enable the delivery of IT services

+ Contributes input to the overall architecture, operational governance model

+ Researches, participates in designs, and tests components that are standards based, high performing, highly available, and secure in delivering the required business functionality within Collaboration Products and Services

+ Assists in the education of internal and external users on the technologies to continually improve the knowledge and skill-base of the organization on how to operate Collaboration Products and Services

+ Participates in the evaluation and selection of Collaboration products and services

+ Contributes to capacity modeling to ensure systems have the necessary space and resources to perform the business strategy and goals.

+ Contributes to capability modeling to align systems strategy and planning with business strategy and goals

+ Assists in developing test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for assigned projects

+ Participates in Peer Design Reviews and Design Thinking sessions.

Delivering Technology

+ Assists in quantitative and qualitative analyses for service design processes and projects.

+ Participates with the Service Delivery and Transition teams in planning and coordinating implementation, reviewing quality control of systems functional design, usability, functionality, and implementation.

+ Coordinates with appropriate IT and vendor relation teams.

+ Supports, implements, and promotes standard configuration and change management, processes and practices

IT Governance

+ Follows all defined standards and processes (i.e. IT Governance, SM&G, Architecture, etc.), and provides input for improvements to the appropriate process owners as needed

+ Maintains a proper balance between business and operational risk

+ Follows the defined project management standards and process

+ Aids in the development of test plans, implementation plans, and project timelines for assigned projects

Managing Projects and Priorities

+ Thinks creatively and practically to develop, execute, and implement new project plans.

+ Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.

+ Plans, develops, implements, and evaluates the quality of operations.

+ Performs other reasonable duties as required for this position.

California Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $83,550 to $178,603 annually.

Colorado Applicants Only : The salary range for this position is $83,550 to $162,366 annually.

Hawaii Applicants Only: The salary range for this position is $101,096 to $178,603 annually.
