About the Role:

+ Position: Middle School Counselor

+ Dates: August 15th – May 30th, 2025

+ Hours: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM

+ Location: Robbins, IL

+ Team Support: Work alongside 2 social workers and 1 other counselor in a supportive environment for a school with only 400 students.

+ Responsibilities: No caseload-focus on testing and crisis intervention for general education students. Addressing key issues like attendance, suicidal ideations, and emotional well-being.

Requirements:

+ Education: Master’s (MSW) or Doctoral degree in School Counseling.

+ Certification: IL PEL with an endorsement in Counseling, ensuring compliance with state standards.

+ Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is highly preferred, but a passion for making a difference is essential.
